Took $5k for 50 investments in 5yrs then disappeared
The product, 'Day One Investor' by Jeff Brown, is a scam that conned us out of a $5k subscription. He provided approximately a dozen investment recommendations before he disappeared.
Jeff Brown alleged that he was fired and subsequently unable to access his subscriber base. However, he was then purportedly rehired by the same company and failed to inform his subscribers about the benefits they were supposed to receive from 'Day One Investor,' which were touted as '50 deals in 5 years.' Despite my numerous attempts, I have not been able to make contact with Jeff Brown, Brownstone, or Day One Investor. I advise everyone to steer clear of this scammer, who hosts videos for new products and has essentially created a false profile of successes to lure people into spending thousands of dollars. There ought to be a class-action lawsuit against Jeff Brown for defrauding the public out of $5000 USD and then ignoring us once the '90-day guarantee' had expired.
Interestingly, the 'guarantee' only covered shifting the investment within the company, not offering an actual money-back situation.
I fell for the hype. To my dismay.

Misleading and horrendous product
So upon subscribing to their newsletter (The Bleeding Edge), it looked pretty promising so I decided to do a bit of research. Everything I saw regarding this company looked relatively good based on the reviews, so I decided to give it a try.
Under the Impression that I was purchasing a $200 product, I blindly proceeded. That is until I saw my bill. $2700. So I tried multiple times to get my money back through phone and email with absolutely no response.
I couldn't even get through on their line. Either it was busy or I'd just get hung up on without even getting a hello in. Anyway I put in a complaint with the BBB. I've actually done more research since.
Turns out the company only recently changed their name from Bonner and associates to brownstone research. The real reviews state that this company is a complete fraud, their product is substandard if even that.
Reports state that there were unauthorized withdraws to costumers credit cards and people being mislead into the purchasing a product for far more than they thought.
Steer very clear from brownstone research or Bonner and associates. Steer clear from The name Jeff Brown who is the founder of both scams.

Question on your November new future report
I have found that some of information that is supplied to investors is somewhat misleading and to a untrained eye the wrong impression could be made.
I personally dont have any problem with that but a unsafisticated investor could leave with the wrong impression.

You are fortunate. I have been charged nearly $6,000.
It appears that once they got my credit card info they used it to sign me up with other entities.la None of these "entities" have made me a single dime. These are the most unethical "people" I have come across. I am living off of Social Security, so obviously this amount is a serious thing for me. I believe they will attempt to try and increase it after a year.
I believe all of us that fell for their scheme should file a Class Action Suit. A suit was filed with the SEC a few years ago for defrauding people of over $17 million in a real estate scheme.
He received 5 years in prison. Doesn't appear he learned much.

Yes I think Brownstone Research customers should file a class action suit. If I sold his crap suggestions I would lose over $175,000.00.
May mean nothing to them, but I live on social security and I am now crippled in buying my retirement home because I can’t afford to sell any investments at such a loss. So I’m stuck renting and the rent is more than my soc.

Unsolicited AMEX billing notice for $129.00. Their customer service email does not work.
unsolicited charge to be placed on AMEX. Stay far away from this. I tried to send them an email to cancel this charge, however it was rejected as an invalid email address.

I am in a 90 day trail, contacted the company to cancel, and the operator did not want to proceed with my request.
It is a nightmare and not recommended - fasle misleading advise and their services are not helpful at all.
Now - to place follow-up calls, it gets more difficult to reach someone.
I am waiting for Brownstone to send me a confirmation ref number, that Brownstone's trail is cancelled. It is normal to receive a confirmation, and that payment will be restored to the CC which was used.
today is August 10, 2022 (Trail was started in16,June 2022 - it is a 90)

How I got my $ back from Brownstoneresearch
HOW I GOT MY MONEY BACK FROM BROWNSTONERESEARCH. I called the Delray Beach, Florida Police.
I figured scammers like these want to be far away from those they cheat. So I went to the police right where they live! The officer who took my state memento was a dream: polite, dedicated, interested in getting the truth. Not gay, but would like to hug him.
He sent another officer to Brownstone with my statement to get theirs. They acted innocent, but quickly agreed to send me my $500 back.
Cockroaches dont like it when you come into their nest. Good luck to all.

Hyped knowledge but terrible investment advice
I'm sorry to say that I fell for their sales pitch. Not only have I not made money from it, my original investment is down 75-80%

Scam, Fraud and Grifters
Do Not Associate with this company in any way whatsoever. These guys are not Financial Consultants at all.
The entire business model is based on Selling your Data, email info etc. to other companies who will spam and spam and spam and then those companies sell them too, and they too.
Jeff Brown is such a huge Con Man. I have rec'd reply emails from "Siri" and "Giselle" after requesting that they stop selling my data and delete me from all their data bases. I'm not sure if those are actual individuals or just bots that Grifter Brown uses.
But if they are in fact REAL people, I can not wrap my mind around working for someone of this ilk.
I would rather clean bathrooms and be in such a lowly business . .
. which they try to position as an actual Financial Business.

These is one of the scam businesses associated with Brownstone Research. Jeff Brown and Brownstone Research sold my email and data, (because their front of being an Investment Consultant is just a scam, so they can gather your data and sell it.

Thank you I was going to pay $200 for a subscription but since there are so many investing scams out there I thought I better investigate this jerk turns out I was right about him. Anything that sounds to good to be true is always a scam especially when they offer discounts then you know it's a scam.
I absolutely agree with this consumer. This guy and his minions are nothing but low rate car salespeople and you don't even have a *** used car to show for it!
I was roped in for $300 and thought very seriously about buying the same subscription you purchased. I decided to listen to my gut and not continue with the additional subscription purchase.
I'm so sorry they practically shoplifted a hard-earned $3K out of your account. I hope more people read these honest reviews and steer clear of these jerks.

I too have bought into some of these types of advice guys and all you get is your name sold to every other group to try to sell you more bs.
I have never subscribed to their newsletter, at least, consciously, so when I received one, I unsubscribed (successfully), next day I received one again and again unsubsubscribed and still continue receiving emails. I have to disagree with the writer. I signed up for a few services and finally the brownstone research which gave me some well worth recommendations and my investments are up like never before. I have been investing since the 1990s and no books were of much help till i got to work with jeff brown, a respectable and well educated man in what he recommends.
