So upon subscribing to their newsletter (The Bleeding Edge), it looked pretty promising so I decided to do a bit of research. Everything I saw regarding this company looked relatively good based on the reviews, so I decided to give it a try. Under the Impression that I...

I absolutely agree with this consumer. This guy and his minions are nothing but low rate car salespeople and you don't even have a *** used car to show for it!

I was roped in for $300 and thought very seriously about buying the same subscription you purchased. I decided to listen to my gut and not continue with the additional subscription purchase.

I'm so sorry they practically shoplifted a hard-earned $3K out of your account. I hope more people read these honest reviews and steer clear of these jerks.

Misleading '90-day 100% Refund' promise

Brownstone Research - Misleading '90-day 100% Refund' promise
Brownstone Research - Misleading '90-day 100% Refund' promise
BEWARE: pure scam, you WILL NEVER get your money back. the '90-Day 100% Credit REFUND' simply implies that they will NEVER refund your money back, but instead give you a 'credit' to use for any of their other subscriptions. AND they will sell your email address so that your inbox will get flooded with more subscription solicitation emails from people you've never even heard about..

User's recommendation: avoid!

He's a SPAMMER!

I'm busy playing 'wac-a-mole' with the many, many, MANY similarly linked sites that they maintain. It's to the point that I must respond to each-and-every site that comes my way -and there are LOADS! When I respond -and report- to one site, then my email is shunted to a similar site to do it again; and again; and again; until I've responded to ALL of the sites.

User's recommendation: AVOID.

They are like an ole girl friend who never goes away!

Simple, they take money from your credit card after you have cancelled them that they are not authorized to do so. Then they tell the bank that they have offered services for that money and the bank believes them and the charge stays in place. Check them out on The Better Business website.........hundreds of complaints and "F" rating. This operation is a major shake down and scam!!!! Losers........End of story.....

User's recommendation: Run the other way.

Pros
  • There are no pros for this company - waste of time and money

Cancel the renewal

They charged me for a renewal I didn't ask for. When I called I spoke with "John" who said he would cancel and refund my money within 5-7 days. I guess we will see. Thank you.

User's recommendation: Stay away from Brownstone!!

Input

10/21/21 My only question is this: Their model portfolio has an opening date for NOK (Nokia) as 11/3/20. However, when I subscribed to the service early in 2021, NOK was not in their model portfolio. It was added about 2 or 3 months ago. Now the curious thing is they have an opening price ($3.39)that was lower than when it was recently added. Now if they had Nok back in 1920 that is ok, but it was not added back into their model portfolio until around August of 2021. I can't figure out why they claim an opening price of $3.39. I am making money with them but its not going to make me a millionare any time soon.

Terrible service

Their concept is to just buy and hold. If they had suggested to sell at times, their suggestions would possibly make sense. In 1 year of investing as a brownstone unlimited customer, I am at a loss.

User's recommendation: Do not waste your money. You would do better in buying CD's.

Poor value

Their stocks recommendations were just horrible. Lagged the market and tanked big during a bull market. How do you manage that and still stay in business? I call it good it sales and marketing.

Also unhappy.

I spent $49. Mainly to get access to the ticket symbol for G.T.E. And to find out where a person could invest for $25., As promised. I got the publication which told me nothing. To date, after three weeks, I still know nothing, even after I called his customer service and told them I could not access the info I paid to receive. Sandra Nikirk If anyone knows the info I seek, please let me know. nikirkproperties@***.conDo not believe what Jeff

Ad-spamming

I watched ONE video with yada, yada, yada, yada and more yada from Brownstone Research, and since then every single ad on YouTube has been an ad for Brownstone Research and their so-called "products". Not sure what has happened, but it is NOT normal with 2030 ads for the same company without any other ads at all. My best guess is that they don't make money for their customers with good advice and insight into economics. All they do is being good talkative yada, yada, yaers trying to make money off the sheep they try to herd. Their marketing is so aggressive that they simply should be stopped!

User's recommendation: Do not fall for their spam-videos and spam-ads.

I don't want my Internet and YouTube experience totally ruined by their ads over and over and over and over again

Annoyed

I bought reports/service from them. Before I even got started they bombarded me with emails. I cancelled. They did give me my money back but continued to send lots of emails. I emailed them to stop and never contact me again. Still sending tons of emails.

User's recommendation: Don’t get involved.
